Beauxbatons Academy

Dining Hall A massive room, littered in ancient and very valuable antiques and decorations. At the far end of the room is a massive fireplace, eight feet high and ten feet wide. It is lit only when special events occur or when the school is in a lockdown at night and all students sleep in the hall.Four giant tables are lined up in the hall, taking up most of the room. Entrance Hall The massive front doors lead into the entrance hall, one of the biggest and most ancient places throughout the entire castle. Golden wood floors and antique wizarding object adorn the hall, and the oak wooden panels on the walls give the entrance hall a rather cosy feeling.	RSS Email	0	0	12/31/69 09:00:00
Dungeons Not many set foot in the dungeons. The murky, mildew-covered dungeons of Beauxbatons are not a favored location. Students generally try to stay away from the dungeons, mostly because of the rumors of the giant arachnid that lurks in the shadows. It is said to have made its home in Beauxbatons' dungeons right after the school was created, and the headmasters and headmistresses have never been able to get rid of it. Corridors Doors line long, massive corriders that wind throughout the school. These corridors all lead back to one big room, full of an assortment of inanimate staircases. This is usually the busiest room in the castle.	RSS Email	0	0	12/31/69 09:00:00

Quidditch Field A rather large field located behind the castle where Quidditch events are located. Three rings, bewitched to hover in the air are located on either side of the field. Huge stands sit on the sides of the field, towering over the long stretch of grass. Other events (like the dueling club) host their practice sessions and such on the Quidditch field as well. Grounds Students often spend their free time on what little grounds there are that surround the school; most of the area is water. The Mediterranean Sea borders the school, so it tends to leave little land for the students to walk on. However, there is a dense forest surrounding the back of the school, which the students have named "Wood of the Wolves" due to the many rumors of werewolves living in the forest. The Underwater Dungeon Under the calm surface of the waters of the nearby sea, a group of students have been kindapped by rogue merepeople and taken to their underwater dungeon which looks like a big air bubble inside one of the many dungeons of the uderwater palace. NOTE: Victims/Hostages have already been pre-selected but we are going to allow a couple of more rescuers. DO NOT POST IN HERE UNLESS GIVEN PERMISSION BY ONE OF THE ADMINS! Underground Cavern This secret cavern hidden beneath the school is known of by very few. The cavern is very hard to get to, as numerous obstacles block the way. However, if you find the way, you will be in for quite a treat; the cavern contains four magical rowboats. They are enchanted with several deep and very powerful spells and incantations that keep the students safe, but also make the boatride as pleasurable as possible. In order to keep the boats secret, several disillusionment charms have been placed on the boats to make them blend in with the water.	RSS Email	0	0	12/31/69 09:00:00
The Hidden Cave A cave carved out of the side of the massive hills that border Beauxbatons Castle, hidden behind hundreds of cloaking incantations. It is unplottable. The few students that do know how to get into it keep its existance a well-guarded secret. Chess Arena A massive room on the ground level of the castle. A giant chessboard with giant pieces is located in the center of the room. Bleechers surround the chessboard, where students (mostly boys) come to watch people face off in an all-out game of wizard's chess. Corridor of the Forbidden A long, dark corridor on the east wing of the castle that has been appropriately dubbed "Corridor of the Forbidden" by the students.
